Oh hey there! I’m Melanie and I’ve spent the last 15 years working with women and helping them truly discover what makes them feel like the best version of themselves, inside and out.
My career started in New York City (is there anything like a NY slice of pizza?!) where I worked on several theatrical productions, Broadway tours, and commercials before heading into the bridal world. I then continued to hone my stylist skills with brides before finding my ultimate true passion -- diving into a women’s closet and getting to the bottom of why she isn’t feeling amazing every single day. It’s now been 7 years of getting knee deep in old clothes and I’ve seen it all!
I’ve gotta tell you, I’m not just a personal stylist, but a confidence builder and my passion is helping frustrated women conquer that overwhelming feeling when they walk into their closets. That’s why I created and authored The Confident Closet, a 6 week long process that helps women clean out their closet, gain confidence in their personal style, and organize in a way that brings clarity and joy.
My approach is different than most stylists because I don’t just TELL my clients what they should wear because it’s in season or on trend. Instead, I make sure they are asking the right questions so that they can gain confidence not only in their appearance but in their ability to put together a killer outfit that wows. Wows who exactly? THEMSELVES!
I love that clients reach out to me when they realize they want a change -- they no longer want to start every day feeling ‘eh’ about what they are wearing. I help give them a fresh perspective on exactly how to get there.
I look forward to helping you on your journey too, wherever you are in the process!
When I’m not building up my Style Blazers (what I affectionately call my tribe of loyal and stylish go getters) I can be found playing in my backyard with my sweet family including my stellar hubby, two incredibly adorable kiddos (I’m biased) Zoe and Jude, and my fiesty Boston Terrier, Lola. I live for a great musical (ain’t nothing like the feeling of live theatre), endless dance tv shows (World of Dance, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With The Stars… I don’t discriminate), and a killer bold red lipstick. Also, I’m a firm believer in the life changing magic of a Beyonce dance party.
